We are located in Central Mississippi. I have been around horses and dogs my whole life. As a child growing up we owned collies and border collies. I purchased my first australian shepherd in 1998 from Janice Gardner. He was a loyal companion and very easy to train and so smart. When I got married in 2004, I purchased an australian shepherd that was smaller in size and fell in love. I am a small breeder and will only have 1-2 litters a year depending on the health of the mother. Our dogs are registered with AKC as Australian Shepherds. Our dogs are not AKC Miniature American Shepherds as some believe that is what most miniature sized australian shepherds are. We guarantee in writing that your new puppy is free from genetic defects listed on the Orivet Australian Shepherd Panel for a period of 24 months from date of birth. If your puppy were to develop any problems caused by those genetics please contact us immediately. All other genetic diseases have a 12 month guarantee from date of birth. No money will be refunded. Any claim of a defect must be accompanied with written proof from a licensed veterinarian. We reserve the right to have our veterinarian check the puppy over before any decisions are made. We are not responsible for the puppy after it leaves our possession. This Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason after puppies are born. The only time I will refund a holding fee is if it is placed on a puppy and something happens to the puppy while it is still in my care. The reason for a holding fee is for me to hold the puppy for you. If I was to transfer the holding fee to another puppy, I would have lost several potential new families for that puppy, while it was marked sold. If a week has gone by and no holding fee is received then you lose your chance at the puppy and it goes back up for sale. PUPPIES ARE NOT HELD WITHOUT A HOLDING FEE. For sanitary reasons and to protect my dogs and puppies, We no longer allow puppy visits. Parvo and other contagious diseases are deadly to puppies. All my pictures are unedited, the pictures are usually taken in my front yard in a natural setting where the puppy can be a puppy. Arrangements for pick up of the puppy must be made by the time the puppy reaches 7 weeks of age. We do not mind holding puppies for our customers. If pickup arrangements are not made by the time the puppy reaches 8 weeks old, you will be notified and will have 24 hours to get back in touch with me. If no communication is received from you regarding pickup, you will lose your deposit and the puppy will go back up for sale. I prefer not to ship any of my puppies as I like to meet the person s that is getting one of puppies. We will be happy to meet you at a half way point for closer distances for the costs of the expenses, both directions. If the distance is further, we will be happy to meet you at the closest airport. You can book a flight to my closest airport and take the puppy back with you. My puppies do not leave my care with problems, if your puppy has developed problems, it is because you have made them that way. However, I do care and love my dogs and the puppies they produce, I do not want to see them end up in a shelter or out on the streets. Results will be posted when I get the information. We do not do hips or eyes as my vet keeps a close watch on these.
